Surron Throttle Tube Aluminum Upgrade | Light Bee | Ultra Bee
This Surron throttle tube swaps the stock plastic tube inside the OEM throttle on the Light Bee and Ultra Bee for 6061-T6 aluminum. It takes the slop out between throttle and bar, and it does not snap off when the bike goes down. OEM Surron throttle only.
Specs:
- 6061-T6 aluminum - holds its shape where the stock plastic tube wears loose or snaps off in a drop.
- Tight tolerance to the bar - removes the play between your throttle and handlebar.
- Fits inside the OEM Surron throttle housings - reuses your stock throttle, bolts, and return spring.
- Bare tube, no grip - install a new grip on it during the swap.

- Surron Light Bee X / S (OEM Surron throttle; all years)
- Surron Ultra Bee (OEM Surron throttle; all years)
OEM Surron throttle means the stock throttle with the Surron logo on the housing. Aftermarket throttles are not a match. On one of those, this tube has to be shaved down to fit.

Will this fit my throttle?
Only the OEM Surron throttle on the Light Bee or Ultra Bee, the stock unit with the Surron logo. Aftermarket throttles are a different size. Run one and you will have to shave this tube down before it fits.
Why replace the stock plastic tube?
The plastic tube wears and opens up play between the throttle and the bar. Drop the bike and it can snap right off. Aluminum stays tight and takes the hit.
How hard is the install?
Two bolts. Pull the bolts, remove both aluminum housings, and pop the plastic tube out. Slide the aluminum tube in, refit the housings and bolts, then install a new grip.
Do I need a new grip?
Yes. Plan on a fresh grip for the aluminum tube. It goes on as the last step of the install.
Does the stock return spring still work?
Yes. On the OEM Surron throttle, the stock spring seats correctly and the throttle returns like it should.
Does it fit the Surron LB2?
No. The LB2 is a new frame and a new design, not a Light Bee. This tube is built for the Light Bee and Ultra Bee OEM throttle.
